About Robert Brown of Brown Bear Realty


Robert Brown has over 42 years of real estate experience, including owning and managing his own general brokerage agency for over 42 years. Robert has extensive knowledge and experience in a variety of real estate services and transactions including:  recreational property development and sales; commercial site selection and sales; land acquisition, development and sales; residential construction and sales;   bank owned property sales; and buyer agency representation.   He has represented hundreds of buyers and sellers in their personal and business real estate transactions.

As a graduate of the Realtor Institute, Robert holds the GRI professional designation, and is also an experienced home builder and real estate developer.  Robert earned his BA Degree from the University of South Carolina in 1978.  All three of his children are also now graduates of the University.  He is active in the community having served in various capacities of appointed and elected office on the state, regional and local level.         

Robert and his wife Paula live in Marion.  Children Rob and his wife Brittany live in Charlotte, Sara and her husband Charles live in Columbia, and Sally is pursuing a graduate level degree at the University of South Carolina.   Robert is the owner and Broker-in-Charge of Brown Bear Realty LLC.
